Summary
FastTaxCalc is a free informational tool. By using this site you agree not to misuse it, understand that results are estimates only (not professional tax advice), and accept that rates may change. We provide the service as-is with no warranty.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FastTaxCalc at fasttaxcalc.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors and users of FastTaxCalc.
2. Description of Service
FastTaxCalc provides free, browser-based tax calculators for US sales tax, UK VAT, India GST, Canada HST, paycheck tax, income tax comparison, and related calculations. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
FastTaxCalc does not provide professional tax advice, legal advice, accounting services, or financial advice of any kind. Nothing on this website constitutes a professional adviser-client relationship.
3. No Professional Tax Advice
Important — please read carefully
FastTaxCalc calculators are estimation tools only. Tax law is complex, changes frequently, and varies by individual circumstances. Calculator results may not account for:
- Your specific tax situation, exemptions, or credits
- Recent rate changes not yet reflected in our data
- Special district, ZIP-code-level, or industry-specific rates
- Complex scenarios involving multiple jurisdictions
Always consult a qualified tax professional, accountant, or the official tax authority for your jurisdiction before making tax filing decisions, charging customers, or making financial decisions based on tax estimates.
4. Accuracy and Rate Changes
We make reasonable efforts to keep tax rates accurate and current, sourcing rates from official government tax authorities (IRS, HMRC, CBIC, ATO, CRA, and others). However, we cannot guarantee that every rate is current, complete, or correct for your specific situation.
Tax rates change. Legislatures raise or lower rates, effective dates shift, and local jurisdictions add or remove taxes. FastTaxCalc is not liable for any loss, penalty, or liability arising from use of outdated or incorrect rate information. Verify rates with the official tax authority before relying on them for compliance.
